Botanical Name - Anona muricata

----- This species is easily determined from its cogeners by the fruit. The latter is larger than other custard apples (occasionally weighing 2 lbs.) Somewhat unshapely and covered with long soft pirckles. Its properties are diuretic. Root said to be antidote agaies. fish-poison.
