solitary or in pairs on woody hooked peduncles, greenish-yellow,
exceedingly fragrant. Sepals
3, valvate. Petals
6, 2-seriate, acute, minutely seriaceous, 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 in. long.;
bases concave, connivent; limb spreading. Stamens
numerous. Ripe carpels berried.
