Leaflets 3-4, cordate lanceolate, acuminate, entire coriaceous, glabrous, 3-5-nerved at teh base. Terminal leaflets 3-4- by 1 2/5 - 1 4/5 in. Flowers white fragrant, both in few flowered axillary cymes and many flowered elongated terminal panicles; panicles ; Berry 1/2 in. long., ellipsoid, dark purple when ripe.
