----- A rigid erect shrub. Leaves opposite, simple, thinly coriaceous, shining, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 1-2 in. long. Flowers in 1-5 flowered sessile cymes; pedicles short, Calyx glabrous; calyx-teeth rigid, twice the length of tube or longer; corolla-tube 1/3 in. long. lobes shorter than tubes.
